Privacy Policy

Pick My Pre is a free quiz that matches you with pre-workout supplements. It has no accounts, no logins, and no database. This page explains, in plain terms, the only data involved.
Your quiz answers
Your answers are scored in the browser and in the request that renders your results page. They are not written to any database and are not tied to you.
While you are taking the quiz, your progress is kept in your browser's sessionStorage so a reload doesn't lose it. That copy is cleared when you finish the quiz, when you start over, and when you close the tab. Your chosen colour theme is kept in localStorage. Neither is sent anywhere.
Your results link
A results URL looks like /recommendations?a=140011. That six-character code is a compact encoding of your five multiple-choice answers, and nothing else — the results are recomputed from it on each visit. Anyone you share the link with sees the same three picks. The code does not contain your email address.
Your email address
The quiz asks for an email address. Today it is not transmitted anywhere and not stored on any server: it stays in your browser for the length of the session and is never placed in the results URL. If that ever changes, this policy will be updated first and the question will say what the address is used for.
Analytics
The site uses Vercel Web Analytics, which counts page views and two events — "quiz started" and "quiz completed" — in aggregate. It does not use cookies and does not build a profile of you across sites. The site is hosted on Vercel, which keeps standard server request logs (including IP addresses) for operational purposes.
Links to supplement retailers
Result cards link out to the manufacturer's own product page. Those are plain links — Pick My Pre does not currently use affiliate or tracking parameters, and gets nothing if you buy. Once you follow a link, that retailer's privacy policy applies, not this one.
Cookies
Pick My Pre sets no cookies of its own.
Changes
If this policy changes, the "last updated" date above changes with it. See also the Terms of Service.
